I use it to transmit from my basement hobby area to the other 2 BlueSound products I own. There is unexpected network delay between the source and remote nodes. I understand why, just didn’t expect it. In my case, the benefit outweighs the issue. I can see how this could be a problem for some.
Can't believe this product is so well-reviewed. It was basically unusable until I hardwired an ethernet cable. If I was stuck with wifi-only I definitely would have returned it. Set up over wifi took 5 different attempts, and playback was choppy, switching between sources took 45 seconds.
Hi Aaron, We would like to let you know that we have opened a ticket on your behalf to get the issue resolved. Our team will work to identify and address the root cause of the problem to ensure that you have a smooth and seamless experience with our product, whether using it on WiFi or via a hardwired Ethernet connection.
I purchased an audio system for my home, which included a Bluesound vault 2I, a Bluesound sound bar and subwoofer and three Bluesound pulse mini 2i’s. As far as the Bluesound equipment goes, I am very pleased with the sound and performance. Enjoy ripping CDs and streaming all over my home and home office. Unfortunately there have been a few glitches. The refurbish process is not the best. Fortunately, the Bluesound technical support is excellent. One other downside which impacted my rating is the $99 charge I received for currency conversion. It’s still unclear to me, why purchasing from US locations with US dollars created a currency transaction, but there you go.
Hello, We are going to look into this issue. We would recommend contacting your bank as we have not seen this issue in the past. We will also open a ticket with our support team if you need us for any support. Thank you for choosing The Audio Factory!
This is my second NAD purchase from The Audio Factory and I couldn't be happier. The CD player looks great and sounds fantastic. I mainly listen to vinyl, but no sense in the CD collection just sitting there. It's a nice change of pace sometimes when I'm working and the quality is everything I hoped for.
Great customer experience,SubSeries 350 is a great compliment to the rest of my system.
Great value et easy to setup. Excellent way to jump on the vinyl / LP world without breaking the bank. Definetly one of the best sounding turntable in this price range.
Great product, no issues been using for 2 weeks and has been wonderful
I’ve recently purchased the Nad c165bee, which I’ve been dabbling for the past 2 years, I went ahead and pulled the plug since I’ve noticed they are now discontinued and would be my last chance, upon unpacking the unit I’ve noticed 3 screws underneath only half screwed in, with a quick fix I’ve tightened them up and on my way, after setting up the unit to my c275 and c546bee I’ve noticed the volume in not working, after inspecting the remote I’ve noticed that it’s coming apart on one side, so I’m using it manually at the moment, so far I’m pleased with the sound quality, a lot more dynamic than my t757, i have reached out to the audio factory to see if it’s possible to get the remote replaced but haven’t had any response as of yet, thanks and I’m looking forward playing some tunes this weekend.
Great sound providing exceptional value. I have several PSB speaker and have often been complimented on the rich sound on numerous occasions.
Wanted a sound bar with Atmos, and to pair into home theater group with Pulse Flexes. Sound quality when grouped was not poor, with muddled dialogue and a weird sounding effect. Was better with no groupings. To listen to music you must disconnect home theater group and recreate non-theater grouping, and it still doesn’t sound as good as it should. No enhanced dialogue setting, no TV setting, no sub crossover on this model. I like the Soundbar 2i (no Atmos) better.
I bought my powernode 2 as a refurbished unit; the included documentation indicated that the power supply had been replaced.
When adding to my existing system, I found that the firmware on the unit was so far out of date that it wouldn't update, and I had to follow the manual firmware update procedure. (I wish the firmware update had been done as part of the refurb process).
With the firmware updated, the unit associated and works as expected!
There are some very minor scuffs and signs that the case was opened, but no major scratches. This is going in my workshop and the aesthetics aren't super important.
Overall, very impressed for the price. Three stars because it took me a few hours and a bunch of obtuse failure messages to figure out that it needed a firmware update.
The Bluesound Pulse Sub Plus was easy to pair together with the 2 Pulse Ms that are connected in stereo mode using the BluOs app. Right out of the box the build quality if the sub looks and feels great.
The Pulse Sub Plus adds the much needed low end depth of sound to the Pulse Ms when playing music or movies and the crossover feature is a nice touch. Couldn't be happier with my purchases, the Bluesound system adds clear and detailed sounds you will enjoy listening to music for hours.
These speakers are great.
My only issue with this transaction is that there were multiple prices and multiple discounts listed. I originally looked at the speakers-600$. Clicked on the link, all of a sudden they are 750$. So I figured it was 600$ for the refurbished speakers. Then I look at the new speaker page and it says 40% off and still lists th Elric’s at 750$ and all emails fell on deaf ears.
I hope they aren’t like that if something goes wrong with the speakers.
They are very versatile and run with flawless operation…. But I would like to see a few improvements / features.
1. Improved WiFi sensitivity. This is their weak link. 6E would be ideal.
2. Ability to turn off Apple Air Play
3. Ability to see the bit depth and rate in the app of music playing
4. Flash the blue LED to indicate the command has been sensed. The white LEDS get brighter for a second. Same idea… Operator feedback.
Otherwise highly recommended
It's hard to find a really dynamic A/B amp in this price range. My NAD C 316BEE takes the cake. Amazing dynamics and great sound. The phono stage is incredibly good. I am so happy with this unit. I have paired with Klipsch RP-160M speakers and more recently Wharfedale Diamond 225's. I'm getting a great soundstage and the 225's disappear. I can highly recommend this amplifier, particulary if you have a turntable. I also use the Cambridge Audio Magic DAC 100 with this and the results are exquisite.
This is the first streaming DAC I’ve purchased, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to set up. Don’t be concerned if you aren’t a computer whiz, everything is beautifully thought out and intuitive. The sound quality is impressive with good detail and great heft, but it isn’t terribly transparent. Excellent QPR but if you want a deep, open soundstage you’ll have to spend more.
Item arrives rapidly and was as described.
Using as a transport only, it’s a great streamer . Tried it as a stand-alone streamer and the DAC wasn’t acceptable for my usage . The app is one of the best and the WiFi connection is flawless and the NODE is always ready to stream . I use the USB connection and the sound is Amazing. Fantastic piece of kit .
